A co-worker of mine had Bells Palsy too. She was also diagnosed with sepsis. She recovered from sepsis, but not fully from Bells Palsy. Today, she’s in her late 50’s. Her speech isn’t so great, so she can’t talk on the phone, sadly.

I’ve had Ramsey hunt 3 times. It spread along a nerve ending in my groin and it was painful. Docs said it was due to chicken pox (varicella) as a kid so I needed the vaccine. That’s right my “natural immunity” wasn’t sufficient

Herpesvirus has an unfortunate tendency to take up residence in nerve ganglia, and reinfect when adaptive immunity drops, either because of stress or age. Hence cold sores and shingles. I had bell’s palsy before a while back, it’s actually not that rare. If you experience this symptom, be sure to check for other stroke symptoms since facial paralysis is one of the symptoms. Er if you experience others, if it’s just this urgent care will probably suffice.

It’s bells palsy let’s be honest and we know why it happened when it did.
My face was paralyzed for 6 months with Bell’s Palsy. It took a year to get all the feeling back in my tongue.
I had Bell’s Palsy too – took me almost 8 months to get full control of the right side of my mouth again – I’m never taking being able to drink or spit my toothpaste out in the sink for granted again. Still have lingering muscle control problems in my eyelid area, now about 4 years later.
Justin will bounce back from this and then he and Haley will have a baby.

I only had bells palsy for about 6 weeks….. doc prescribed me steroids…think it was called prednisone….. do u still have some left over effects from it …I do
Hope he recovers quickly. Bells palsy can be brought on stress, stroke or a muscle issues.
@Justin 0ldman yo no joke I’m a union carpenter and in order to go back to work in NY I had to get it and after the second shot I was laided out for Iike 4 days and one shoulder was bigger than the other I also got covid twice after the shot over a 5 month span.

I had face paralysis at the end of studying for exams. My doctor said it would be permanent. It healed after a month of less stress. I don’t see that doctor anymore.
